Our School Store is open for business!  We have a strong group of workers who have done a terrific job of stocking the store with fun and interesting school supplies and small toys.

We have a $3.00 daily limit per child.  We try to keep every item under $1.00 but occasionally we have a very popular item that costs over $1.00.  Basic pencils are 10 cents and pencil top erasers are 5 cents.  We also strive to keep as many items as possible priced at a quarter.

The School Store doesn’t sell items for profit.   All money spent at the store goes back to re-stocking the store.  The School Store is an opportunity for many of our third graders to have real experience with money and customer service and learning responsibility.

While the store is open, it is supervised by a staff member, usually myself.  I strive to double-check all math and money exchanges.  Please be patient with our new workers!  It takes them a few weeks to become really accustomed to working at the store so the wait in line can be long.  I encourage students towards the back of the line to return at a different recess.
